Kinase Assay: Kinase assays were performed using the assay kit by Reaction Biology Corp (Malvern, Pa.). The compounds were tested at 10 concentrations by 3-fold serial dilutions starting at 30 μM. Staurosporin was used as a control nonspecific kinase inhibitor. In vitro kinase reactions using purified kinases were carried out in the presence of 10 μM ATP and test compounds.
